Henri Chauvet Vie Ordinaire 2023

Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the wine is vinified with a light touch to emphasise purity, energy and drinkability. Aromas of red cherry, wild raspberry and cranberry are complemented by hints of dried herbs, crushed stone and a subtle volcanic smokiness. The palate is fresh, supple and vibrant, with bright acidity, soft tannins and a juicy core of red fruit. True to its name, it is an uncomplicated but characterful wine designed for enjoyment rather than contemplation, offering a charming expression of Auvergne's emerging wine scene. It pairs beautifully with charcuterie, roast poultry and simple bistro dishes.
