BB, Bombolieri: From a vineyard set high on a promontory with white limestone soils, this is the darkest and most saturated of the three Frappato, open and accessible like the others, yet with an earthiness joining bright red and black fruit on the nose, plus extra layering and textural richness, capped by fresh acidity.

Vino di Contrada wines come from 3 sites of one vineyard, planted with Frappato. Arianna (niece of Giusto Occhipinti of the legendary COS estate in Vittoria, south-eastern Sicily) has identified the nuances the different soil compositions and exposure can bring to her wines, resulting in 3 different bottlings, from soft and silky to more robust and intense.
